Description

Visitors can climb this historic landmark through a looped single-track trail system. From these trails, hikers can reach the base of the Rock and are afforded panoramic views of Downtown Castle Rock, the I-25 corridor, Pikes Peak and the Front Range. This hike offers rocky and uneven terrain.

Picnic pavilions
Picnic pavilion may be reserved at select Town parks. 
Online park pavilion reservation requests must be submitted at least one week prior to the date requested. If your event is within one week, please contact the Parks Division at 720-733-2260 or email.

Availability is not guaranteed until you receive confirmation directly from the Parks Division, which is usually 72 hours of receiving a request. Please note: Requesting the park pavilion does not reserve the athletic field as well.

All other park amenities may be used on a first-come, first-served basis.
