Earth Day Willow Conservation Project

Come celebrate Earth Day by helping to restore disturbed areas along Sellars Gulch in Downtown Castle Rock. We will be harvesting willow branches from healthy riparian (streamside) habitat upsteam of Festival Park then replanting them along Sellars Gulch as it travels through Festival Park.

Perfect activity for Scout groups working on their conservation badges! Learn about riparian habitat and how to help improve and restore riparian habitat.
